Lt. Robert Biamonte

Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO) means any person appointed pursuant to NJSA 40A:14-146.8, et seq. to temporarily or intermittently perform duties similar to those performed regularly by members of a local police department, or to provide assistance to the department during unusual or emergency circumstances.  SLEO personnel are established under Borough of Carlstadt Ordinance 2-22.14.

Current SLEO I duties include, but are not limited to:

Court security;

Parking Enforcement;

Park and public facility security;

Parade and public event security.
