About the unit
The Crime Prevention Unit is comprised of an officer whose responsibility is to serve as liaison with the residents and businesses of the borough regarding the establishing of safety zones such as enhanced property lighting, security surveillance systems and overall public awareness of safety‑related acts and actions.
